*Planning Commission Open House September 8*

You are invited to attend a public open house hosted by the Planning Commission on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 6pm at the Township Hall.  At 6:30 pm there will be a presentation of proposed revision to the zoning map and ordinance.  Since adoption of the current Master Land Use Plan in 2006, the Planning Commission has been reviewing the current zoning ordinance (adopted in 1998) for consistency with the Master Plan, and is proposing changes that would create new zoning districts and impact the types of land uses and densities of development to be permitted in each district.  Public input received during this open house will be critical to the Planning Commission in preparing its final zoning ordinance recommendation for consideration by the Township Board.
